Mistie’s Board & Train program is a fully customized, behavior-focused training experience designed around the individual dog—not a one-size-fits-all approach. Each dog receives a personalized training plan based on temperament, behavior challenges, learning style, and home lifestyle goals. With over 15 years of hands-on experience, Mistie provides consistent structure, clear communication, and real-world training to build lasting obedience, confidence, and trust. This program is ideal for busy owners who want meaningful, tailored progress and a smooth transition of skills back into everyday life at home.
Dogs in Mistie’s Board & Train program receive complete, real-life immersion by living in Mistie’s home alongside her personal, well-balanced pack. Training happens throughout the day in natural household settings—during daily routines, around other dogs, and out in real-world environments—rather than being limited to scheduled sessions. Crate time is kept minimal and primarily reserved for nighttime rest or decompression when needed, allowing dogs to spend most of their day actively learning and practicing appropriate behaviors. Dogs accompany Mistie daily to controlled public and lifestyle settings, helping them build confidence, accountability, and reliable skills that transfer seamlessly into everyday life at home.
*If you have a dog with a bite history toward human or dog - please reach out personally to Mistie to discuss the severity of the case & options. Bite History dogs are REQUIRED at Minimum 3 - 4 Week Program.
